• Distance Learning

Last week Governor Walz announced that distance learning has been extended through the end of the 2019-20 school year.

    • Pelican Rapids High School and Viking Elementary School buildings will continue to be closed during this time.
    • Meals will be still delivered and Club Vikes will still be open for children of workers deemed essential.
    • Please refer to the COVID-19 tab on the district website for all school information and updates during this distance learning time. Our district Facebook page will also be updated regularly.
    • The best form of communication with school staff is email during this time. Questions can be emailed to: ASK@VIKES.US

Students engaging in distance learning have access to appropriate educational materials and receive daily interaction with their licensed teacher(s). E-learning is one method for delivery, but is not required as part of distance learning. Distance learning can also be provided without the use of technology.
